The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm has issued a travel advisory to parts of Thailand and Cambodia, following recent fighting in the border areas.

The travel advisory is for all travel within 50 kilometers of either side of the border. In Thailand, this includes the tourist-dense islands of Trat province, such as Koh Chang, Koh Kood and Koh Mak.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to other parts of all provinces along the border.

Several media outlets are reporting that travel companies Ving and Tui are canceling all trips to Koh Chang in the near future as a result of the travel advisory. However, this only concerns “a few trips” for both Ving and Tui, reports SVT .

According to US President Donald Trump, the parties agreed to a ceasefire on Friday.
