TV3 and Viaplay have recently specialized in reality series in the workplace environment. The next big venture is "The Mine", which focuses on those who work with iron ore mining in Kiruna and Malmberget, as well as in the copper ore mine Aitik outside Gällivare.
The series, which premieres in the fall, depicts the work behind the scenes at the major companies LKAB and Boliden, which are collaborating with Viaplay on the series.
"This is a fantastic opportunity to show off our daily routine, an environment that we believe many are curious about," says Erika Lindblad, communications manager at LKAB.
TV3 and Viaplay have previously produced similar series within other professions, such as "Frozen Roads" and "Swedish Truckers".
