The Centre Party is reporting Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) to the Constitutional Committee after Expressen revealed that documents about security adviser Henrik Landerholm's negligence had been kept secret.
These are serious allegations, says Daniel Bäckström, group leader of C, to the newspaper.
For a total of 673 days – or nearly 21 months – the memorandum with the damage assessment regarding Landerholm's negligence with confidential documents was kept secret from the public since it was not registered.
The Centre Party is criticizing the Government Offices for letting it take so long before the documents became public and is therefore reporting Kristersson to the Constitutional Committee.
The Left Party has also reported the Prime Minister to the Constitutional Committee regarding Landerholm's actions. The report submitted on January 15 concerned forgotten documents at a conference center.
The Left Party has also demanded the security adviser's resignation, a demand that the Social Democrats and the Green Party have joined.
