The house in Albuquerque in the American state of New Mexico was used during the filming of the award-winning TV series between 2008 and 2013, and ever since then, fans have been flocking to the site to take pictures. According to the house's owner Joanne Quintana, an average of 300 cars pass by every day.
The series is about chemistry teacher Walter White, who, after being diagnosed with lung cancer, wants to secure the economy for his wife and children before he dies and therefore uses his chemical knowledge to start producing and selling methamphetamine.
The series' lead actor Bryan Cranston has tried to pour oil on the waves and urged "Breaking Bad" fans to move on and let go of the series.
I'm proud of what we did, but everything should have an end, he says.
The house is on the market for 4 million dollars, equivalent to almost 45 million Swedish kronor, despite similar houses in the area being valued at around 350,000 dollars, writes NME.
Besides a cameo role in the last season of "Better Call Saul", Cranston appeared again as White in the film "El Camino" in 2019 and also revived the character for a Super Bowl commercial in 2023.
"Breaking Bad" was voted the best TV series of the past 25 years on the film site Rotten Tomatoes last year.
