Thailand and Cambodia agreed on Monday on an "immediate and unconditional" ceasefire after mediation talks in Malaysia. But it had barely come into effect before Thailand on Tuesday accused Cambodia of having breached the ceasefire.
And during the night towards Wednesday, Cambodia is said to have carried out yet another new offensive in the Sisaket province, according to the Thai Foreign Ministry.
"This constitutes a clear breach of the ceasefire agreement", the Foreign Ministry writes in a statement.
According to the spokesperson Jirayu Huangsab, the "general conditions along the border" from eight o'clock, local time, will again be normal.
Cambodia has previously denied breaching the ceasefire.
