Tess Olofsson has been elected as the fourth referee in Wednesday's European Championship semifinal between Germany and Spain, reports the Swedish Football Association.
Olofsson was initially selected as the fourth referee for the semifinal between England and Italy on Tuesday, but has now been moved to the match between Germany and Spain.
There, Swedish colleague Almira Spahic will also be present in the form of a reserve as the first assistant referee.
Olofsson's assignment comes after an intense quarterfinal between Germany and France where she handled red cards, disallowed goals and penalties.
I think she maintained a high level in the match. She gave us who watched on TV and everyone who was on site a really good football match, said former top referee Jonas Eriksson after the match to Radiosporten.
