The National Center for Women's Peace (NCK) is expanding telephone access for affected men, transgender people and people living under honor-related threats and violence. The support line for vulnerable women has been open 24/7 since 2007.
"Through increased accessibility, we lower the threshold for seeking support," says Anna Häger, operations manager at NCK, in a press release.
Chat availability is also being expanded to four days a week across all support lines.
The Women's Peace Line, the support line for men, the support line for transgender people and the right-to-choose support line, for those who are subject to honor-related monitoring, are run by NCK on behalf of the government.
