The investigation began in March after a 16-year-old girl went missing. She was later found and police suspect she was a victim of sex trafficking, the Brussels prosecutor's office said.
The gang was allegedly led by three minors with the help of three adults - two men and one woman - who are accused of “professionally” arranging sexual exploitation of the victims.
Three underage victims have been identified in the investigation, and there are indications that there may be more.
