Team Niklas Edin still managed to win their sixth straight game in Ogden, Utah, 7–6 after a shootout.

South Korea had an illness in their team, which meant the match was played with only three players. It went well, though.

"It was an even match. They played very well and we had trouble keeping up with them in the first six or seven ends. We had a little trouble with the ice at the beginning; it was frosty. But we played very well in the second half of the match," Swedish skipper Niklas Edin said in SVT's broadcast.

Christoffer Sundgren was rested, and Simon Olofsson played instead.

"We need to save energy; it's a long tournament," Edin said about the player change.

Sweden's next match is against Norway at 2:00 AM tonight.
