A tanker in the Red Sea has been hit by some kind of projectile, according to the British Navy's maritime surveillance agency UKMTO.
"The tanker’s captain reports that the vessel has been hit by an unknown projectile, which has caused a fire on board," UKMTO writes.
The Iran-backed Houthi movement also said it had carried out attacks on two Saudi tankers at sea. Earlier this week, the movement claimed to have imposed a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia.
