For two years in a row, the Swedish Football Association has chosen to award the Forward of the Year to Chelsea's Johanna Rytting Kaneryd.
The 28-year-old, who won the treble with the London club this spring, said that it meant a lot and that "it's proof that you've done well."
She was also good in Chelsea's League Cup meeting with Liverpool. The Swede scored three goals in the second half and contributed to the match being won by a whopping 9–1.
The League Cup quarterfinals also offered other Swedish successes.
Fridolina Rolfö was behind Manchester United's 2–1 win against Tottenham. She played until 1–0 and made it 2–1 herself at the end of the match. In Arsenal's 2–0 away win against Crystal Palace, Stina Blackstenius scored the visitors' last goal.
