The listing of SpaceX is on track to be the largest in history. Now even small Swedish savers will be able to get a share of the pie, as Dagens Industri was first to report.
The online broker Nordnet has been appointed distributor for the European prospectus.
First time
"It is the first time that both Swedish and European savers can participate in a U.S. stock market listing, so it is a real milestone," writes Nordnet's communications manager Johan Tidestad in an email to TT.
The shares can be subscribed for up until Thursday, the day before trading starts. However, it is unclear how many shares Swedes can get their hands on – SpaceX will decide the allocation.
Musk gets richer
The company will release just over 555 million shares at $135 each. This gives a total value of around $1,800 billion, equivalent to SEK 16,300 billion.
The company was founded in 2002 and builds rockets for space travel. Customers include the U.S. space agency NASA and the Pentagon.
