Since the man is no longer a doctor and is not under Ivo's (the Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate) supervision, the authority cannot continue the investigation, reports P4 Jönköping.
The former pediatrician, who worked at Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, had his medical license revoked at his own request a month ago.
However, the extensive police investigation into him is still ongoing.
