Galiyev, who goes by the nickname "Scar", is considered a high-ranking figure in the criminal Dalen network, where he has been identified as a mastermind and coordinator of violence.

The crimes he is suspected of are mainly linked to the gang's conflict with the Foxtrot network, which led to a long series of serious violent crimes, especially in 2023 and 2024.

We suspect that these crimes were committed as part of a conflict between two criminal networks, in which the networks have focused on harming each other's members or relatives, prosecutor Lukas Tigerstrand previously told TT.

Ildar Galiyev was arrested in Greece in the summer of 2024 after Swedish prosecutors issued a European arrest warrant. In connection with this, he was suspected of and later convicted of crimes in Greece before being extradited to Sweden in early 2026. He was remanded in custody by Södertörn District Court in February and is suspected of more than 20 crimes.

Murder and attempted murder

This includes four murders, six attempted murders and five cases of aggravated public destruction or attempted aggravated public destruction.

The 26-year-old is suspected, among other things, of inciting murder in connection with the high-profile bombing in Fullerö outside Uppsala in September 2023, when a 24-year-old woman died after an explosive device detonated between two townhouses. The likely target was a relative of Foxtrot leader Rawa Majid, but the woman who died lived in the neighboring house.

He is also suspected of involvement in the murder of an 18-year-old man who was shot dead at a sports field in Fruängen, southern Stockholm, just a few hours before the Fullerö attack. Several children were at the sports field at the time, and videos of the incident were later shared on social media.

Bomb in Hässelby

Other notable incidents among those he is suspected of include a bombing in Hässelby in March 2023 that caused extensive damage to an entire block of townhouses, a large explosion at an apartment building in Linköping in September that year, and a shooting in Södermalm, Stockholm, in May 2024.

Ildar Galiyev was born in Kazakhstan and has dual citizenship, but grew up with his family in Enskededalen in southern Stockholm. He has previously been convicted of several drug offenses and attempted extortion. He denies the charges.

The indictment is expected to be filed on Wednesday morning, according to prosecutor Mats Ihlbom. The trial is scheduled to begin on November 3.
