Detroit took home the win with 5–2 in tonight's match in NHL against St Louis. The Swede Elmer Söderblom stood for one of the goals, and several other Swedes got assists that helped the team to victory.

It was Detroit's fourth goal, near 13 minutes into the second period, that Elmer Söderblom was responsible for.

Team captain Dylan Larkin showed good form and scored two goals. The Swedish superstar Lucas Raymond has good cooperation with Larkin, and was credited with an assist in both of his goals. Also, the Swede Simon Edvinsson was noted for an assist on one of Larkin's goals.

But it was not only in the winning team that Swedes put their mark on the match. Philip Broberg played forward to the very first goal of the match, when St Louis' Brayden Schenn got the puck into the goal less than a minute after the match began.
