"In a troubled world, it would be a mistake to reduce access to understanding our military defense," he writes in an email to TT.

After the announcement that the Army Museum will close in the spring of 2027, Pär Gustafsson writes that the Liberals are prepared to "act directly in the Finance Committee" to secure the museum's future.

The National Property Board (Sweden's state property agency) is increasing the rent for the Army Museum by 60 percent. However, according to director Lars Amréus, this is not the main reason for the closure. The museum's management believes it is not possible to modernize the museum in its current premises and wants to find new ones.
