The American dollar has been a drag and has lost ground against all major currencies since President Donald Trump took office at the beginning of the year.
And the fact is that the Swedish krona has performed the best, after having struggled for a number of years, according to Bloomberg's G10 currency index.
Today, the dollar costs 9.78 kronor, compared to 11.07 at the turn of the year. This is a strengthening of 13.2 percent.
Other currency winners are the Swiss franc, up 11.4 percent against the dollar, followed by the euro, up 9.7 percent.
Among the weaker currencies, the Australian dollar stands out, which has still strengthened by 1.6 percent against the dollar.
In addition to those already mentioned, the G10 currencies also include the British pound, the Japanese yen, the Canadian dollar, the New Zealand dollar, and the Norwegian krone.
