Three Swedish players selected for Olympics help Minnesota to 4–3 overtime win over Montreal

A thrilling NHL game between Minnesota and Montreal was decided in overtime. Three Swedish players who qualified for the Olympics contributed to Minnesota's victory.

After just 38 seconds, Minnesota's Joel Eriksson Ek scored the game's first goal. He was assisted by fellow Swede Marcus Johansson, who also assisted the third-period goal that tied the game 3–3.

The NHL game went into overtime and was decided by Kirill Kaprizov, who scored twice and made it 4–3.

In goal for Minnesota, Filip Gustavsson made 17 saves.

The three Minnesota Swedes have been selected for Tre Kronor's Olympic squad in Milan. The tournament starts next week.
