Edvin Anger and Gustaf Berglund did not reach the podium in the World Cup sprint relay in cross-country skiing. The Swedes finished fifth in Goms, Switzerland.

Gustaf is riding fantastically well; it would have been fun to be able to do the same, says Edvin Anger in Viaplay's broadcast.

The podium was in sight for Sweden when Berglund switched over to Anger for the final stretch.

That was not the case. Anger tired early and failed to catch up with the fastest nations heading into the sprint.

"I couldn't take it. It's going too fast," says Anger.

The duo wants to continue racing together, preferably at the Olympics.

Absolutely. It's just that I need to find a way to go faster too, says Anger.

Norway won, ahead of Italy and the USA. Sweden was 16 seconds behind the winners.

Sweden's second team, with Emil Danielsson and Anton Grahn, came in 14th place.
