Even assets in Norwegian currency are reduced slightly, to 2.5 percent from the previous 3 percent.

In addition, the Swedish Central Bank broadens its portfolio of bonds in the foreign exchange reserve to also include French, Spanish, and Italian government bonds.

"The change means that the Swedish Central Bank is expected to increase its earnings slightly," writes the Swedish Central Bank.

The currency hedging of eight billion dollars and two billion euros made in 2023 – about a quarter of the foreign exchange reserve – will be retained unchanged, according to the Swedish Central Bank.

The currency hedging provides, according to the Swedish Central Bank, some protection against the effects of a stronger krona, and the position has been taken as the main scenario is that the krona strengthens by a total of 10 percent against the dollar and euro from today's level.

The gold volume in the Swedish Central Bank's reserve remains unchanged at 125.7 tons.
