The National Police Commissioner Petra Lundh is with a monthly salary of 194,100 kronor the best paid of Sweden's agency heads, shows a survey by Altinget. In second place is the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's Director-General Nils Öberg who earns 189,600 kronor. The Swedish Tax Agency's Director-General Katrin Westling Palm earns in turn 185,000 kronor.
According to the newspaper, it differs by over 100,000 kronor per month between the best paid agency head and the worst paid. At the bottom of the list ends up Robert Dalman, director of the Appeals Board for Student Support, with 93,500 kronor per month.
On average, the agency heads' salaries increased by 3.3 percent in the latest collective agreement negotiations, the newspaper writes.
