In a picture published by the Swedish Football Association on Saturday morning, the squad is seen posing in front of the plane that will take them to the US. All players were dressed in tracksuits and were ushered in through the VIP entrance at Arlanda Terminal 2.
The Blue and Yellows will land in Dallas and have their first training session on Sunday. According to a statement, the session will be light, focusing on recovery and getting started after the long trip.
Sweden will face Tunisia in the World Cup opener on June 15. After that, they will face the Netherlands and Japan.
