Hanna Olsson was dropped from the Olympic Games qualification last month, but is included in the squad for the World Championship in the Czech Republic, which starts in two weeks.
The 26-year-old has had a fine season with Frölunda, which was topped last week when the club won the Swedish Championship gold on the women's side for the first time.
It's great to have Hanna with us again. I had an extra positive conversation with her, where I feel that there is an honesty on both sides, says Sweden's national team captain Ulf Lundberg in connection with Tuesday's presentation of the World Championship squad.
She's tagged, I can guarantee that.
A more disappointing message is that USA professional Maja Nylén Persson will miss the championship entirely. The New York defender is staying in North America with an injury.
It's naturally a setback. Unfortunate for us and for Maja, of course, says Ulf Lundberg.
The World Championship will be decided in the Czech town of Ceské Budejovice from 9 to 20 April. Sweden will play in the lower-seeded group and meet Germany, Hungary, Japan, and Norway in the group stage. The three highest-placed teams in the group will advance to the quarterfinals, along with all five teams from the higher-seeded group: Canada, USA, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Finland.
