Russia's actions right now indicate an increased risk-taking, not least towards the surrounding area and the countries that support Ukraine the most, says Kristersson.
He has invited to a meeting on the security situation with the party leaders after the recent violations of airspace around Europe. Among other things, Russian drones have entered Polish territory and Russian fighter jets have flown into Estonia. In Denmark, a series of drone incidents have been reported at airports and near military facilities. However, it is not confirmed that Russia is behind it.
Prior to the meeting, Kristersson has announced that Sweden is supporting Denmark with military anti-drone capabilities to increase security during this week's EU summits.
Primarily to protect the Copenhagen area from unwanted drone attacks for a while, says the Prime Minister.
The equipment is currently on its way to the Danish capital, he says.
According to Kristersson, the Danish government was worried that they would have to cancel the meetings after the drone incidents.
That Denmark saw with some seriousness the risk that this would be affected or have to be cancelled was fairly obvious, he says.
