The week begins with unstable weather and rain or showers in many places. But from the middle of the week, a high pressure starts to grow in from the south, with sunnier and warmer weather
It is warmer down on the continent, and it is that air that is transported here, says meteorologist Therese Fougman at SMHI.
Going into the weekend, the warm air masses have also reached Norrland. However, SMHI is guarding against the fact that a low pressure system in the Norwegian Sea can slow down the warmth in the north.
A weak front and some clouds pass over Norrland during the Friday day. But most of the rain seems to end up on the Norwegian side.
On Saturday, it may become sunny and 23 degrees in Malmö and Göteborg, 25 in Stockholm and Falun and 19 degrees in Umeå. The temperatures seem to be somewhat lower on Sunday, but it will be mostly clear in the whole country.
