Many shots but only one goal. Then Tre Kronor women lost to Switzerland, 1–2. Lena Marie Lutz decided the game in the penalty shootout.

Thea Johansson's 1–0 early in the second period was Sweden's only goal during regular time – despite a large advantage in the game and a whopping 35–14 in shots.

Switzerland needed fewer chances to equalize, taking the match to a goalless extra time and to a penalty shootout.

There, Lena Marie Lutz secured the Swiss victory.

I think we create a lot more chances than they do. We have more gears to shift but we can't match them. We're falling behind their pace," says Ida Karlsson to SVT.

I think we're getting to the hot spot and we're where we need to be. But their goalie played well. We saved the goals for tomorrow (Saturday), I hope.

The next match for Sweden is already on Saturday at 4:00 PM. The meeting with Finland will determine which nation will win the tournament in Ängelholm.
