Sweden was part of the medal discussion after the first day in the European Championship and was fifth, a narrow percent behind Denmark in third place.
When Patrik Kittel and Touchdown went out as the last team, there was a small medal chance, but then a personal record was needed.
But a cautious start gave 73,758 percent, which was over five percent behind Denmark in third place and over four points above the team's personal record.
This meant that Sweden also ended up behind fourth-place Belgium and fifth-place Netherlands with a total of 217,935 points.
I think we did a really good competition and all four went on to the special. It's very close up there, what we lack now is that we may not have a rider who rides strongly, but we have a very even breadth, says Kittel.
Maria Von Essen on Invoice also rode for Sweden on the second day and was noted for 73,804 percent, which was the highest score in the Swedish team.
Germany, with star Isbaell Werth at the forefront, took the gold before Great Britain.
