"Sweden supports Ukraine on several fronts and is now further strengthening Ukraine's maritime capabilities. Towing, mine clearance and transport capabilities are all important capabilities that can now be further increased," says Carl-Oskar Bohlin (M), Minister for Civil Defence, in a press release.
Ten work boats and high-speed boats are being donated. They are being handed over in their existing condition after being de-identified and "authority-specific equipment has been removed," according to the press release.
The Civil Defence Agency will be responsible for transporting the boats to Ukraine.
