"Now we will take on the evaluation that follows from Uefa, and then continue the solid work together with DBU (Danish Association) and our host cities to be able to submit a as powerful final version of the European Championship application as possible in August", says Tobias Tibell, acting Secretary-General of the Association.
The 12th of March was the deadline for submitting a preliminary application. Already in September last year, Sweden and Denmark announced their interest in hosting the championship.
In December, the European Football Association (Uefa) is expected to make a decision on the host country.
