Bohlin has published the interview, which was conducted last week, in full on YouTube. He calls SVT's questions "thesis-driven" and justifies the publication by saying that the issue deserves an "open conversation".
The interview was supposed to be published by SVT on Thursday, but news management has decided not to publish it before the election.
According to Karin Ekman, editor-in-chief at SVT Nyheter, it is not about "sending any signals".
"We never rush to publish strong, in-house journalism," she tells Journalisten.
