Rosengård has been denied permission to move the women's top division match with Häcken. The decision comes after the club received criticism for the desired match move due to participation in a seven-team tournament in Portugal.

In the beginning of May, the message came that Rosengård is one of eight teams that will play the seven-a-side tournament World Sevens in Estoril on May 21-23. A new tournament with 25 million to the winning team.

Then Rosengård said they wanted to move the Damallsvenskan home match against Häcken from Saturday May 24 to Sunday May 25. A decision that was criticized, among others, by Hammarby.

It's directly un-serious of course. To move a match to participate in this type of activity. We think that the competitions that Swedish teams participate in at club level are organized by the Swedish Football Association and Uefa. We know that in advance. We lay out the schedule after, with game-order meetings that are held according to a very set standard. So that this pops up from nowhere is very strange of course, said Adrian von Heijne, technical director at the league leader, to Aftonbladet a week ago.

In the same vein, Häcken's club manager Marcus Jodin told Göteborgs-Posten that they do not want to move the match.

On Thursday, the Swedish Football Association (SvFF) came with its decision.

"The SvFF's competition committee has rejected Rosengård's application to make a match change for their match against Häcken", writes the association on its website.

TT has sought representatives for Rosengård.
