Two suspected dangerous objects were discovered during the night leading up to Tuesday in a hairdressing salon in the Gränby area of Uppsala. A 16-year-old has been arrested, suspected of having placed the objects.

The alarm came at 01.26 about a smashed window in the hair salon. When the police arrived, a suspected dangerous object was found.

When the national bomb squad arrived at the scene, another object was found, so it was cordoned off thoroughly, even Råbyleden was closed for a while, says the police's press spokesperson Magnus Jansson Klarin.

The bomb technicians neutralized the objects on site and by 6 am, the cordons could be reduced and Råbyleden reopened.

The incident is classified as attempted general endangerment and a crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods.
