The alarm was received by the police at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The police cordoned off the area, and the bomb squad worked during the afternoon and evening to move the object.
We are carrying out investigative measures; there is no danger to the public, Therese Hageborn, a duty officer at the police, told TT at 7:30 p.m.
The residents of the house did not need to be accommodated or evacuated.
According to Corren, the object is considered sharp.
It has been assessed as a manageable situation. The National Bomb Protection Unit is currently working on moving it, police spokesman Olle Älveroth told the newspaper.
Shortly after 8 p.m., police and the bomb squad were able to leave the scene.
