The Health and Social Care Inspectorate, Ivo, is criticizing a plastic surgeon who operated on a patient's earlobes without her permission.

The woman was supposed to be at the clinic to have a minor lift of the neck, writes Medical Journal.

But during the operation also performed an intervention on her earlobes, which according to the woman significantly changed their appearance. According to Ivo's investigation, there is no information in either the operation agreement or patient journal that she consented to this.

The decision means that Ivo changes its previous stance that acquitted the surgeon. Ivo also believes that the doctor did not fill in the patient journal according to the patient data law.
