Sundling decided the final on the last hill after just over two minutes of skiing. Svahn took silver and Maja Dahlqvist was - just like at the Olympics - the bronze medalist.
Sundling won four out of four possible Swedish Championship gold medals - relay (Piteå), sprint, 10 kilometers and 20 kilometers. The national team stars came to Umeå directly from the World Cup finals in the USA.
"I've been pretty mushy in the head, but my body has progressed," Sundling told SVT.
"I have never been so tired in my entire life as I have been this week. I am so impressed with Jonna, she has driven like a madman all week. We almost cried before the start because we have been so tired," said Linn Svahn.
Johan Häggström won the first Swedish Championship gold medal of his career in the sprint. He won ahead of Anton Grahn and Oskar Svensson.
