Yesterday, a spacecraft with replacements arrived at the international space station ISS to rescue the stranded astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams.
Other astronauts have been on longer space missions, but none have had to endure as much uncertainty and extend their mission as much as the two.
Williams and Wilmore went up to ISS in June and were initially supposed to spend only about a week there. But problems arose and their return trip had to be postponed several times.
Now they are heading towards Florida in a Space X spacecraft.
"We will miss you, but have a fantastic trip home", Anne McClain from the space station bid farewell when they left.
If everything goes according to plan, the capsule is expected to land in the ocean off Florida tonight, Swedish time.
