The number of traceable passages has increased to eight per day, compared with one to two during most of the conflict, according to a seven-day average from the data platform Signal.

The German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd tells the business newspaper that four ships that were previously stuck in the strait have now left. Danish shipping company Mærsk says that two of the company's ships left the area last week.
Traffic is still significantly lower than before the war, when around 135 ships passed each day.
