Start against Luxembourg from the beginning

The backline talent Hanna Wijk gets the chance from the start in tonight's European Championship qualifier against Luxembourg.

Wijk plays to the right in the backline, alongside others such as Magdalena Eriksson who is back after a knee injury.

The Swedish starting eleven in Göteborg: (4–3–3): Jennifer Falk – Hanna Wijk, Nathalie Björn, Magdalena Eriksson, Jonna Andersson – Filippa Angeldahl, Julia Zigiotti Olme, Kosovare Asllani – Johanna Rytting Kaneryd, Stina Blackstenius, Fridolina Rolfö.

The rest of the squad: Zecira Musovic (goalkeeper), Tove Enblom (goalkeeper), Hanna Lundkvist, Hanna Bennison, Emma Kullberg, Josefine Rybrink, Anna Anvegård, Rebecka Blomqvist, Evelyn Ijeh, Sofia Jakobsson, Rosa Kafaji, Matilda Vinberg.

The double match against Luxembourg is part of the Swedish hunt for a ticket to the European Championship finals in Switzerland next year. Sweden has a 4–0 lead to build on after Friday's away match.

The winner of the double match will advance to a decisive playoff against either Serbia or Bosnia-Herzegovina.
