Frida Karlsson won the mass start in French Les Rousses on Sunday in superior style ahead of Ebba Andersson.

William Poromaa won in the men's class and took his first World Cup victory in his career.

But when the World Cup moves to Switzerland and high altitude, all three are skipping.

"Three of our skiers who performed strongest in France are now entering World Championship preparations in earnest and are therefore skipping the competitions in Engadin, which take place at high altitude", says national team manager Anders Byström in a press release.

Johanna Hagström is also skipping in Engadin to enter World Championship preparations and Linn Svahn announced already last week that she is skipping. Svahn is instead putting in a training week to recover after Tour de ski.

Marcus Grate has been struggling with a cold and is not part of the team, he is back in training but not ready for competition yet.
