Bruce Springsteen harshly criticized U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during a concert on Monday night.

Springsteen made a surprise appearance at a festival in New Jersey and addressed the audience before the song "The Promised Land."

Springsteen, who has long been an outspoken opponent of Trump's policies, called ICE's actions "Gestapo tactics," and dedicated the song to 37-year-old Renee Good, who was recently shot dead by immigration police in Minneapolis.

"If you think people shouldn't have to be murdered for exercising the American right to protest, let your president know. And as the mayor of Minneapolis said: ICE can get the hell out of Minneapolis. This song is for you and in memory of the mother of three and American citizen Renee Good," he said, according to Pitchfork.
