According to the Speaker's press service, this is an informal meeting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, which SR Ekot first reported.

Last week, the Sweden Democrats broke with the set-off system in the Riksdag that the parties had agreed upon by allowing two members who had been set-off to participate in the vote.

After that, the group leaders of the seven other parliamentary parties met without the SD. Several of them, including the Moderates' Mattias Karlsson, said the set-off system was no longer in effect.

All party group leaders are invited to the meeting with the Speaker.

The background to the SD's action was that two SD stalwarts voted with the opposition. The issue concerned transitional rules in the new requirements for Swedish citizenship that the Riksdag decided on last week.
