South Sudan has been hit by the worst cholera outbreak in the country in 20 years, according to the UN children's fund Unicef.
40,000 cholera cases have been reported since the end of September to March 18, "including 694 deaths in the country", writes Unicef.
Half of those affected have been children under the age of 15.
Angola has also been severely affected, with over 7,500 cholera cases. There, 294 people have died between January 7 and March 18, according to Unicef, which warns of a high risk of further increase.
