One of the questions is to be the release of Israeli soldiers during the first phase of the ceasefire. Israel is said to demand that wounded soldiers be released within the "humanitarian-focused" first phase.

Despite the remaining sticking points, the newspaper's sources claim that the ongoing negotiations are going "excellently".

Most questions have been resolved, so an agreement seems very close.

According to Israeli Keshet 12, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is to hold a meeting today with those closest to the ceasefire talks. In what is described as "a sign of an approaching final stage", Netanyahu is said to have reduced the number of people involved in the negotiations and instructed them not to leak any details about the talks.

Israel demands that 34 hostages be released in the first phase of the ceasefire, which, according to sources at Haaretz, is to last 42 days.
