SOS Alarm has had technical troubles during Thursday afternoon. The problems led to delayed alerting and dispatch of ambulances, reports SVT News.
There was a sluggishness in our systems, says Sarah Hummerdal, press spokesperson at SOS Alarm, to SVT.
The problems, which have been addressed, concerned the entire country and lasted for an hour.
Now the consequences will be evaluated.
When asked if the problems meant that people in need of an ambulance have been left without a response, Sarah Hummerdal answers:
It's exactly that kind of thing we're looking at right now.
What caused the technical problems is not known. But according to SOS Alarm, it is not about any influence from outside, the source of the error is said to have been internal.
