"A lot of Swedes need a car to make everyday life work," said party leader Magdalena Andersson at a press conference.
According to Andersson, the effects of the war in the Middle East have already affected the Swedish people and the Swedish economy.
"We want the tax on gasoline to be reduced to the EU's minimum level and for Ulf Kristersson to work in the EU to reduce the tax on diesel," Andersson said.
Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) has in recent days opened up to reduced fuel taxes.
