Social Democrats demand security investigation into SD official in Prime Minister’s Office

Paternity leave is not for solving problems with national security, says Peter Hultqvist, defence policy spokesperson for S, who believes that Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) and the government must do more than has been done so far to investigate whether Sweden's security interests may have been harmed.

Last week, the newspaper Expo published information about a woman who works at the Sweden Democrats' parliamentary office and who has connections to Russian interests. Her partner is the SD's highest-ranking official in the Government Offices. The woman has been on parental leave for some time, and her partner took parental leave after Expo's publication.
