The Smash Into Pieces singer, who had a stomachache, was absent from Thursday's rehearsal for the fourth round of Melodifestivalen in Malmö.

Now Chris Adam is healthy, and the plan is for him to be present during Friday's rehearsal.

I think he's a little tender, but he's not sick anymore, says the rock group's guitarist Per Bergquist.

Smash Into Pieces had to rehearse without their frontman on stage. Instead, a member of the Melodifestivalen editorial team had to act as the singer.

There was a full focus on understanding how the technology and everything works so that we can tinker with it today and add a singer tomorrow, says Bergquist.

According to the band's press contact, Emanuel Magnil, there is "no danger of spreading the infection."

"We have had a close dialogue with SVT about the waiting period," he writes in a comment.
