Liquidity and turnover are pointing upwards, while working hours are at an unchanged level compared to the previous month.
"The proportion of entrepreneurs who believe in a positive development of their business during the next three-month period is increasing from 20 per cent to 25 per cent, while the proportion of entrepreneurs who believe in a negative development is decreasing from 18 per cent to 16 per cent," writes SEB.
Uncertainty is still great, writes SEB's private economist Américo Fernández in a comment. But he points to several factors that have improved the mood of sole traders since the indicator in early May.
"A dampened stock market drama as a result of, among other things, a new trade agreement between the USA and China, good inflation prospects in the form of a stronger krona and decreasing producer prices, as well as clearer signals from the Swedish Central Bank that a rate cut is approaching. These are some of the factors that have contributed to the entrepreneurs' increased optimism," he writes.
