C-leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist and S-leader Magdalena Andersson visited ABB in Västerås together on Wednesday. Among other things, they talked about how more jobs can be created.
This visit is about how to build Sweden with greater understanding between different parties, and I stand for that leadership, says Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist after the visit.
Sweden benefits from more politicians who want to open doors rather than close doors, says Magdalena Andersson.
When asked if the two parties have come a step closer to each other, Andersson answers.
Yes, I would say so.
The C-leader was somewhat more cautious.
"It was important for me to talk about this with an energy agreement, that we both think it is important that it be cross-bloc," she says when asked if they have come closer to each other.
According to the C leader, neither the government issue nor the election campaign was discussed during the meeting.
In her first speech as C leader earlier in November, Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist invited both S leader and M leader Ulf Kristersson to private talks. Kristersson has not yet responded to the invitation.
"I'm waiting for an answer from him, there's no rush. I hope he wants to meet in real life," says Thand Ringqvist.
