The championships that Sjöström is set to compete in start on December 1.
Sarah Sjöström said at the European Swimming Championships in Paris earlier this summer that she may forgo the Short Course World Championships to get back into top shape.
Sjöström, who returned after her pregnancy in April this year, won both a European Championship silver and a European Championship gold in the long course in August.
